Notion Template: Super Simple Task Manager

Like many of you, I use Notion to organize my business, my projects, and my entire life, and I love it to pieces. If you are a small business owner and have not heard about Notion or have not tried it yet, you are missing out on something that could help you A GREAT DEAL. Notion is a powerful project management and note-taking productivity tool. You can schedule tasks, organize content, manage projects and so much more.

The best thing about it is that it is highly customizable so you can build systems and structures completely tailored for what you need. When I first started using it, I watched some tutorials and walkthroughs of amazingly detailed templates that were too complex for what I needed, but that gave me ideas on how to create a simpler system that would work for me. Now, I’ve created my own template to share that system with you.

This task manager is a very straight forward set of pages that will allow you to see all your pending tasks at a glance, filtering them by today, this week, and this month, as well as by category. On this system, once a task is completed, you delete it and it is gone forever. I think storing finished tasks on a separate database, as many templates do, makes the system unnecessarily complex and it adds to our mental noise. Out of sight, out of mind.

What’s included

Main Task Manager page with today’s tasks, this week’s tasks, and this month’s tasks in a calendar format

All Tasks page

5 customizable Category pages including the tasks in each category and a space for notes and ideas. You will be able to add more categories if you need them

Easy-to-follow tutorial

I hope this task manager helps you stay organized without feeling overwhelmed. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about it. I will be happy to help :)
